2. How to create an Oracle Apps Responsibility
A responsibility is a level of authority or restriction assigned to the Oracle Apps users. In this way the users have different access to the Oracle Applications functions and data.
2. How to create an Oracle Apps Responsibility
- Connect to the E-Business Home Page as sysadmin
- From System Administrator choose Security: Responsibility -> Define:
- From the System Administrator choose Responsibility -> Define:
- Choose a responsibility name, the key for this responsibility, the menu which will be available using this responsibility, the data group and the menus & items which will be excluded from this responsibility:
In this example the the responsibility will get access to the "Trade Management" data group and will be effective starting 18-May-2008.
- Save the responsibility.
- One time the responsibility is created, the responsibility could be added to an existing user.
