In-Oracle.com  -> Oracle Applications (apps)  -> R12

-> Install the Oracle 10.2.0.3 patchset into the new Oracle Home

 Install the Oracle 10.2.0.3 patchset

NOTE: This is done on Linux environment and the postupgrade installation is not presented here. Also, for the preinstall task please consult the README file for the patch# 5337014.

1. Download from Metalink the patch 5337014 for Linux x86.

 Patchset 5337014 : 10.2.0.3 PATCH SET FOR ORACLE DATABASE SERVER

2. Copy the p5337014_10203_LINUX.zip file to a directory and unzip it

cd /PATCHES/5337014

unzip p5337014_10203_LINUX.zip

3. Apply the 10.2.0.3 patchset on the new 10.2.0.1 Oracle Home interactively

cd /PATCHES/ 5337014/Disk1

./runInstaller

Click on "Next".

Choose the correct Oracle Home. Click on "Next".

Click on "Install".

Run root.sh as root. 

Click on "Next".

Click on "Exit".

The binaries for the 10gr2 patchset 2 are now installed.
